Victoria Urquhart
Director, Co-Founder, Actor
Victoria Urquhart is a Jack of All Trades: She writes, directs, acts, sings, dances, and is eager to learn. As a performer first and foremost, she constantly looks to define and explore the perspectives of performance and audience. She especially enjoys the works of William Shakespeare, and Viewpoints, which is what led her to found many projects in the collective. A recent graduate of the University of Windsor Acting Program, she brings creativity and insight to the Spur-Of-The-Moment Shakespeare Collective.
Selected theatre credits include: Zoe in MonkeyMan Productions' Simian Showcase, Gentlewoman in Jeremy Hutton's 2012 production of Macbeth with Hart House Theatre, Johanna in Nathaniel Bryan and Steam Powered Theatre's 2011 Toronto Fringe production of Bloom, Writer and Director of Shakespeare Commedia, Mary Jo in Bill Pinnell’s 2009 production of Emma’s Child, and Female Chorus of Daniel Wozniak’s 2010 production of Lysistrata.

Brian Daniel Hansen

Brian Daniel Hansen is a university graduate with a great deal of hands-on experience. He has been writing, acting, directing, and producing projects for the past eight years. He began his career working on stage and quickly transitioned into film and video production. In university he focused his studies toward Advanced Digital Production and never looked back. He has dedicated himself to the pursuit of perfection in Digital Filmmaking & Photography.

Sean Hunter Horbatiuk

As an actor, Sean Horbiatuk has a facility for many types of performance. From heightened text, to contemporary theatre, and even acting for television, he continues to seek out new and innovative forms of performance to engage in. As a student of Ginger Howard Freidman, he continues to hone his craft. Creative credits include: Hamlet from 15 Minute Hamlet, Joe, from the self-directed production of Monster: A Descent, Guest Speaking Role in The Life Network’s The Tourist, and Teenager on Planned Parenthood Toronto’s Words Commercial.

Lesley Apelbaum

Lesley Apelbaum is very excited and honored to contribute to the development of Spur-Of-The-Moment Shakespeare Collective! As an Actor, Administrator, Producer, Writer, and Creator she is eager to create art that wakes people up and transforms the way we think about what is possible. During her final year of University of Windsor's BFA Acting program she created and produced Post-Horizons Theatre Festival, a summer program that provides current students and recent graduates of post-secondary programs across Canada with the opportunity to showcase their work, develop their skills, and network with one another. Favorite credits include: Shen Te/Shui Ta in The Good Person of Sichuan, Chrysalis in The Insect Play, and Writer/Actor in Didi's Dream, a one-woman show created for the Windsor community.

Alexandra Barberena
Collaborator
Alexandra Barberena is a recent Humber Theatre-Performance graduate. She has special interest in stage/film combat, Shakespeare, collective creation, and new play development. Alexandra worked with Spur-Of-The-Moment Shakespeare Collective on Shakespeare’s Briefs, and now helps out administratively and creatively with the collective. When not acting, Alexandra enjoys archery, parkour, and playing videogames. Some acting credits include: Sharp in wasted on the young, Cleopatra in Antony and Cleopatra, and Girl in Transit Diaries.
